The Reaper

What would you do to get revenge for the loss of a loved one? Would you face of against Death themself? This fictional story is an exploration of our relationship with grief and how it changes us.

After having been serialised on Instagram, this indie comic zine has been beautifully printed in black riso by footprint workers co-op in Leeds. Riso-printed ink never fully dries so beware of smudging!

This story began for me as a short story about someone dealing with their grief. The opening line and the majority of the narrative remained the same from the moment I started writing the short story, to the moment I started illustrating it as a comic book, to the finished comic zine.
